Learning To Swim at 75? Why Not?
National records have been set by 87-94 year-old “Water Wizards”. The Public Broadcasting system (PBS) recently aired a “Silver Docs Film Festival” national award winning film, “The Age Of Champions”, featuring Bradford and John Tatum, two of the “Water Wizards”. Click the 'New York Times' link above. Many of our excellent "Water Wizards" athletes only learned after joining the team; some are currently learning.
Adult Swim - "The Hill Rag"
The Water Wizards are DC’s premier senior swim team, and the 50-and-older team members swim for fun, exercise, physical rehab, or to test their fins against other local and national teams. Dive in at William H. Rumsey Aquatic Center (635 North Carolina Ave. SE), Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9:00 a.m.; Deanwood Aquatic Center (1350 49th St. NE), Mondays and Wednesdays at 1:30 p.m.; or Ferebee-Hope Aquatic Center (3999 8th St. SE), Tuesdays and Thursdays at 4:00 p.m. - See "Adult Swim":
